Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"This is a hidden gem for breakfast. Staff is really cool and helpful and the food was just amazing. This was one of the best avocado toasts I had in my life. Thank you kitchen!"
"Had brunch at Chur Bae on Mother’s Day. The place was packed, which shows how popular it is. Plenty of paid parking nearby ($10 for the whole day) which was convenient. The café was clean and the staff were friendly. Food was high quality, though a bit pricey for the portion sizes. We had the croffle, chicken burger, truffle fries, curry chicken katsu on rice, Korean fried chicken and coffee. Everything tasted great. One suggestion: the Korean fried chicken was spicy but not labelled as such, so our kids couldn’t eat it. Would be great to have a non-spicy option for kids on the menu. Overall, a vibrant and tasty spot, just quite loud due to the crowd. Would come again but maybe not during peak hours."
"Best cafe and food I’ve been to. The flavours were perfect in both meals and coffee was amazing. Highly recommend :)"
"I highly recommend Chur Bae! I ordered the Galbi-Jjim (slow-braised beef short rib) and it was absolutely delicious and packed with flavour. The service was excellent. Fast, friendly, and very attentive."
"AMAZING food, GREAT coffee and GOOD vibes! I ordered the Smashed Avocado - this was the best lve ever had, highly recommend this spot - it’s a must!"
"Always top notch experience at Chur Bae! Super attentive staff. Food is always great, mushroom dish is my personal fave. Coffee is also great - consistently good. Its a little noisy inside when busy. Family friendly - Highchairs and change table! Big plus"
"I had the mushroom with burned Dukkah and two poached eggs. The poached eggs were cooked to perfection. This was honestly the best breakfast I’ve had for a while. The shortsighted bread is thick and soft. They were not stingy on the butter which was an absolute treat for me! The flavours complimented the ingredients of the dish. Highly recommend if you want to have breaky with a few friends or a catch up. I also ordered the honey, ginger and lemon."
"Had such a lovely visit at Chur Bae! This café is perfect if you’re looking for a bright, cozy spot to catch up with friends or just enjoy a relaxed meal. The interior is cute and inviting, with lots of natural light — it really makes it a great place for photos and a casual brunch vibe. I tried the croffle with espresso mascarpone and caramelised banana, and it did not disappoint. The croffle was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside, with the espresso mascarpone adding a rich, smooth flavor, and the caramelised banana giving a natural sweetness that balanced everything beautifully. It looked as good as it tasted, making it a great choice for a dessert lover or anyone looking to treat themselves. For something savory, I had the bibim-myeon (soba noodles). It was light, refreshing, and well-seasoned — a perfect contrast to the richness of the croffle. The portion was generous enough to feel satisfying, but still easy to enjoy without feeling too heavy. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Overall, Chur Bae is a spot I’d happily come back to again — whether for a sweet treat, a refreshing savory dish, or just a cozy café experience. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area and want something both tasty and Instagram-worthy!"
