"Had brunch at Chur Bae on Mother’s Day. The place was packed, which shows how popular it is. Plenty of paid parking nearby ($10 for the whole day) which was convenient. The café was clean and the staff were friendly. Food was high quality, though a bit pricey for the portion sizes. We had the croffle, chicken burger, truffle fries, curry chicken katsu on rice, Korean fried chicken and coffee. Everything tasted great. One suggestion: the Korean fried chicken was spicy but not labelled as such, so our kids couldn’t eat it. Would be great to have a non-spicy option for kids on the menu. Overall, a vibrant and tasty spot, just quite loud due to the crowd. Would come again but maybe not during peak hours."

"I had the mushroom with burned Dukkah and two poached eggs. The poached eggs were cooked to perfection. This was honestly the best breakfast I’ve had for a while. The shortsighted bread is thick and soft. They were not stingy on the butter which was an absolute treat for me! The flavours complimented the ingredients of the dish. Highly recommend if you want to have breaky with a few friends or a catch up. I also ordered the honey, ginger and lemon."

It looked as good as it tasted, making it a great choice for a dessert lover or anyone looking to treat themselves. For something savory, I had the bibim-myeon (soba noodles). It was light, refreshing, and well-seasoned — a perfect contrast to the richness of the croffle. The portion was generous enough to feel satisfying, but still easy to enjoy without feeling too heavy. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
